our history

In 2003 during an outreach, our Father met a Sister at Johannesburg Hospital who was in need of prayer at her home in Protea Glen Ext 4. As our Pastor continued on praying with her, on 26 January 2004 after our Father's (Rev. David W. Ngandu) morning devotion, the Lord appeared to him and instructed him to relocate to Soweto to start a ministry that will be called Salem Assembly. It took him a few months to decide, and then he moved to Soweto together with Pastor Michel and Pastor Ade. On 21 March 2004, Salem Assembly held its 1st Sunday Service at house no: 5724 Protea Glen Ext 4. The house belongs to Sister Tebogo Matlala, 8 adult attended.
